Contact Support Worker - Nottinghamshire 

Are you a passionate, dedicated Contact Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Contact Support Worker to join a Contact Support Team based in Nottinghamshire. 

Umbrella Rate: £14.79 per hour

Duration: 11/03/2024 – 3 months initially  

Hours: 18.5 hrs/week – Hybrid

Contact Support Worker role: Full JD Available

  • Arrange and supervise contact between children, young people aged 0-17 and their families
  • Ensure that appropriate boundaries are established and maintained during contact
  • Provide appropriate guidance, advice and support to parents/carers, as required
  • Record information accurately
  • Identify and report any safeguarding concerns and inform the line manager of this
  • Immediately inform the Line Manager of significant events arising before, during or after contact
  • Collect and escort children to and from a range of venues that will include; foster carers, school, children’s centres, private nurseries, crèche and any other location, where necessary
  • Develop strong working relationships
  • May occasionally be required to attend court to contribute evidence as part of care proceedings
  • Attend meetings relating to the children and young people
  • Develop and improve personal skills through attending relevant training and participation in relevant staff development processes

Essential Requirements

  • UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
  • Recent experience working with vulnerable children/ in contact support
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues
  • A good understanding of child development
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate appropriately with a range of professionals and families
  • You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
