Are you a passionate, dedicated EHCP Caseworker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting an EHCP Caseworker to join a team based in Stockport.

Pay Rates: £35 per hour

Duration: 10/07/2023 – 31/01/2024 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – Hybrid 

EHCP Caseworker role: Full JD Available

• Work with parents/ carers, children and young people, acting as the named officer for the EHC process
• Manage a caseload of children & young people, including early years with SEND
• Formulate, draft and review EHC plans by analysing information from a range of professionals through the statutory needs assessment process
• Ensure that SEND needs are identified
• Ensure all pupils are allocated appropriate provision on transition
• Manage parent/ professional expectations whilst working within resources available
• Be responsible for liaising with parent/ carers and Head teachers/ SENCOs where there is dissatisfaction with the outcome of statutory assessment
• Organise conciliation meetings where parents are in disagreement with Stockport Local Authority to prevent appeals
• Prepare cases for and attend decision making panels as required
• Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, using consent led information-sharing to maximise multi-agency working
• Effectively and immediately manager any emergency situations which may occur at school placement

Essential Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
• Recent experience as a EHCP Caseworker
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Standard DBS Certificate
