Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join a team based in Catford, Lewisham. 

Pay: £22.97 per hour

Duration: 29/05/2023 - 3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hrs/week - Hybrid

Family Support Worker role: Full JD Available

• Support social workers in completing life story books for Children and Young People in care
• Visiting children, families and foster carers both past and present to help put together the child’s life story
• Review family agreements, assessments, case recordings
• Liaise with other professionals
• Build trusting working relationships
• Keep records of work undertaken
• Contribute to meetings and reviews where necessary

Essential Requirements:

• Must be able to start within 2 weeks
• Recent experience working with vulnerable children and young people
• Will be expected to attend further training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A sound knowledge and application of Safeguarding procedures for children
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
