Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Time Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Time Worker to join a team based in Warrington.

Umbrella Rate: £17.12 per hour

Duration: 17/11/2023 – 3 months initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, between the hours of 09:00 - 18:00, 37 hrs/week – Office based

Family Time Worker role: Full JD Available

• Direct work with children and families
• Review information about the families circumstances to ensure you are aware of the needs, risks, level of supervision and support you need to provide
• Facilitate and supervise family time between looked after children and their birth families/ carers
• Transport children to and from some family time sessions
• Ensure rooms are clean and suitable before the session goes ahead
• Observe, monitor and factually record the family time sessions
• Ensure the families feel supported to enjoy quality time together
• Provide advice and guidance to parents/ carers if requested to support their care and interactions during the session
• Only intervene if  necessary to ensure the child’s safety
• Listen to any feedback from the families and share this with the team
• Immediately report any concerns you may have, following safeguarding protocols
• Build strong, trusting working relationships
• Attend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
• Demonstratable knowledge, skills and experience of direct Family Support work
• Experience of responsibility to ensure Children’s needs are met
• 1 – 2 years on the job skills and knowledge development
• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
• Ability to plan your own diary and work independently
• First Aid Training
• Need to read policies around lone working and child protection
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
