Finance Business Partner - Northampton County Council

This is an initial 3 month contract with the possibility of going permanant.

Finance Business Partner
Located in Northampton, we are looking for a full time Finance Business Partner to help support LGSS budget holders in the management of their budgets.   The Finance Team is the business partner to all parts of LGSS and is responsible for:

Strategic financial management

Operational accountancy arrangements

Advice and support to budget holders

Performance Management Framework

Driving of the efficiency agenda.
The role of the Finance Business Partner is to lead and manage the provision of high quality financial support to Directors, Heads of Service and Service Managers.  This is a high profile role and requires good management skills to ensure that finance services provided are professional and customer focused.

You will also have to work at two different locations (Cambridge or Milton Keynes)
