Holiday Activities Fun Co-Ordinator – Bury
Salary: £ 13.18 Per Hour
Full Time: Monday to Friday – 09:00am to 17:00pm (Hybrid)
Role Purpose:
- The aim of the role is to provide high quality, timely and comprehensive administrative support to successfully deliver of our 2022/23 Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues within the Council, Health Professionals, leisure providers, education establishments, voluntary sector and the public to deliver the project and work with delivery partners across Bury to support families
- To oversee an Expression of Interest process and the award of grants to successful delivery partners and continue clear communication and feedback channels throughout the year.
- To ensure data and information required by the DfE is accurate and collected to agreed specifications and timescales and that this is analysed and summarised as required for reporting to the DfE.
- Any other reasonable duties required to support the HAF project.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively formulate the project delivery plan and manage the budget which co-ordinates a programme of enriching activities for children and young people over school holiday periods.
- Work with our local voluntary organisations to support the development of a diverse offer across Bury for children to access during school holidays.
- To raise purchase orders and reconcile invoices and other related financial administration to ensure timely spend of funding from the DfE.
- Co-ordinate and actively support delivery of focus groups/ workshops and training for partners.
- Communicate effectively with delivery of the HAF Programme.
- Support quality assurance monitoring of all sessions/ partners undertake delivery observations as necessary.
- To collect accurate and timely data as required by DfE.
- Assess grant submissions based on criteria for approval by Project Manager to award of grants to successful delivery partners.
- Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and other documentation to support the efficient and effective delivery of the HAF Programme.
- Support quality assurance monitoring of all sessions/ partners undertake delivery observations as necessary.
