Night escort officer -Lewisham

Location: Linkline office, 1^st floor, Roseview, SE13 7AF

Contract:  initial 4 -month contract with possible further extension

Hours: 37 hours per week

Pay: £13.21 to £16.19 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Purpose: To accompany Telecare officers on visits to users homes when necessary, as far as practicable ensuring their safety. Identify any Health and Safety risks to staff. Assist with safer moving and handling of users and with lifting equipment. To support the Telecare Officers by preparing units / cleaning in readiness for issue to users. Other duties as directed by the Telecare Officers or Operation Managers.

The primary purpose of the role is to:

1. To maintain a high standard of care and to recognise the users right of privacy and choice.
2. To accompany Telecare Officers on visits to users in their own home and as far as practible, ensuring the Health & Safety of their and your own safety.
3. To assist in administering personal care and safer moving and handling of users, including the use of lifting equipment.
4. To assist retain safe custody of users keys and information, ensuring homes are left secure following any visit
5. To assist Telecare Officers in line with Health and Safety guidelines, identifying potential problems for other team members.
   
   
6. Clean Telecare equipment and pendants, carrying out basic maintenance as required.
