Parent and Family Worker - Parenting Team - Nottinghamshire 

Are you a passionate, dedicated Parent and Family Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Parent and Family Worker to join a Parenting Team based in Nottinghamshire.

Umbrella Rate: £18.31 per hour 

Duration: 25/12/2023 – 3 months initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – Hybrid

Parent and Family Worker role: Full JD Available

• Direct work with parents, children and young people to deliver interventions to support families. This could include helping them to build routines and boundaries, deal with family conflict and reduce safeguarding concerns
• Help to deliver evidence based parenting groups and programmes such as Solihull Parenting, Non-Violent Resistance or 123 Magic, or a range of workshops focused on parenting children and young people
• Assessments of parenting for adults with a learning disability
• Families are normally open to either Social Care or another Lead Professional who has completed a family assessment and have requested some direct work with the family
• Communicate effectively with allocated lead professionals
• Produce short, formal reports to explain the outcomes assessments and interventions when required
• Keep and maintain records of work done
• Attend meetings, reviews and conferences where required
• Maintain a current knowledge and awareness of legislation, policy, procedure and practice in the post holder’s field of work

Essential Requirements

• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
• Level 3+ in Childcare, Teaching or Family Support
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children, young people and their families
• Experience in delivering interventions to support families
• Experience in family/ parent assessments
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
