Personal Advisor - Children in Care - Leicester

Are you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Personal Advisor to join a Children in Care Team based in Leicester. 

Pay Rates: £17.76 per hour

Duration: 09/10/2023 - 3 months initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week - Hybrid (must be flexible)

Personal Advisor role: Full JD Available

• Manage a caseload of young people aged 16 – 25 years with a visiting pattern
• Support and advocate for the children and young people
• Contribute to Single and Age Assessments
• Supervise family contacts with the children and young people and their parents/ carers
• Raise any concerns you may have
• Support the children and young people on any emotions that may arise from family contact
• Undertake Life Story Work
• Develop strong working relationships
• Monitor and record activity, providing reports as required
• Attend meetings and reviews where required
• Undertake training or development opportunities where necessary

Essential Requirements:

• Recent experience working with vulnerable young people
• Experience of behavioural work with children/ young people and their carers  
• Knowledge on children development and safeguarding children issues
• Ability to develop strong working relationships
• Time management/ organisation skills
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
