Personal Advisor - Leaving Care Team - Manchester 

Are you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Personal Advisor to join a Leaving Care Team based in Manchester, to support young people with their transition to adulthood and live an independent life in their community.

Umbrella Rate: £18.11 per hour

Duration: 04/12/2023 – 2 months initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am – 8pm, 35 hrs/ week – Hybrid

Personal Advisor role: Full JD Available

• Direct work with young people aged 16 – 25 years who have been or are Looked After
• Managing your own caseload
• Prepare and support the young people to live independently
• Develop strong, trusting working relationships
• Support and provide access to education, employment, training and health support
• Advice and support to gain access to appropriate accommodation
• Support with financial skills/ stability
• Provide advice, practical assistance and support where needed
• Contribute to Pathway Plan Assessment and provide ongoing assessment promoting young people’s full engagement
• Promote welfare and ensure that their views and wishes are considered when undertaking assessments
• Identify packages of support for young people living in the community and supervise and monitor the delivery of tasks in accordance with the pathway plan
• Keep accurate case records of work with young people
• Work with agencies to ensure young people’s needs are met

Essential Requirements

• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
• Recent experience working with young people in care and after care
• Experience in Pathway Plan Assessments for young people
• Ability to develop strong, trusting working relationships
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
