Project Manager (Transportation / Technical Support)

Salary: £ 30.12 Per Hour Umbrella

Full Time (37 hours per week)

Purpose:

Our client is looking for 2 suitably qualified consultancy supports to assist Kirklees in the project managing and providing technical transport planning advice for specific projects/programmes within the West Yorkshire Transport Fund.

The requirement is to increase high level technical support and project management to develop and progress Kirklees transport schemes in the West Yorkshire Transport Fund.

We are looking for candidates who are degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant subject, have extensive development planning experience (transport) and good technical skills which should include managing and providing technical input for major transport schemes.  A detailed knowledge of the transport aspect of the planning system and an understanding of operational assessment software is also essential. Experience on Green Book assessment of schemes is also desirable.
