Job Description
Are you an experienced Prosecutions Lawyer with a strong background in prosecution and enforcement matters? We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, Legal Executive, or equivalent to join our team and represent the council in both routine and complex legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and represent the council in prosecution of offences under the Housing Act 2004, Environmental Protection Act 1990, and other regulatory cases.
- Handle enforcement and environmental health work.
- Provide advocacy at court, managing cases from start to finish.
- Proven experience in prosecution and enforcement matters.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and regulations.
- Ability to handle both routine and complex cases with confidence and expertise.
- Exceptional advocacy skills and a track record of success in court.
- Competitive Rate: £42 per hour
