Adult Care Home, Gloucester
£35,000/-
Permanent
Full time, 37.5 hrs/week
- Manage a 6 bedded residential home for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities
- Manage the services within the service in accordance with standards agreed with the Person Registered
- Participate in evaluation of the service against agreed organisational goals, business, and quality objectives
- Formulate and implement of all of the policies and procedures
- Provide leadership of the administration, care, and people management functions of the Service, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance
- Maintain the operations of the service within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider
- Formulate and administer the service’s budget based on the service’s objectives
- Maintain support and management skills
- Specify, recruit, select and train employees, implementing the induction of all new employees
- Ensure that job descriptions for all employees are appropriate to current practices in each function
- Work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary health teams in order to maximise opportunities for Service User therapeutic support
- A minimum of Level 4 qualification in Health and Social care is required
- Must have 5 years’ experience of working with adults in a managerial capacity within a residential setting and a minimum of 2 years working with adults
- Detailed knowledge of policies and procedures
- Inspirational, experienced leader who has the right skills, values, and knowledge to develop and lead a staff team to ensure the needs of the adults are met
- Enhanced DBS registered to the update service
