Are you a passionate, dedicated Social Work Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Social Work Assistant to join a Child Protection Team based in Mansfield. You will be required to support the work of the service in securing best outcomes for children, young people and their families.  

Pay: £14.70 per hour

Duration: 19/06/2023 - 3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 37 hrs/week - Hybrid

Social Work Assistant role: Full JD Available

• Direct work with children, young people and their families
• Assist social workers to ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable children/young people
• Develop, implement, review and assess plans for children where appropriate
• Liaise with schools, health services, voluntary agencies and other partner agencies
• Accompanying social workers on home visits, transporting/delivering/collecting as required
• Attend meetings and reviews
• Maintain up to date records
• Maintain effective, trusting working relationships

Essential Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, car business insurance
• Recent, extensive experience working with vulnerable Children and Young People
• Knowledge of child development and children’s needs
• Experience of working with other agencies, either in the statutory or voluntary sector
• Strong interpersonal skills with a range of people including children, young people, parents and carers
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
