Adults Duty Team Manager

We are currently looking for a Adults Duty Team Manager  to work with one of our clients based in Bradford. You will be working for the council.

Job Purpose

Adult Services Access Point is the main front door for Adult Social Care. It is also the main duty social work and occupational therapy service.

The service can take up to 250 calls per day. These can range from straight forward calls for service or increasing a service to dealing with crisis situations requiring immediate help. The service model is that call handlers (Access Information Advisors) take all the calls and offer a range of advice using a strength based approach. Depending on the outcome of this the AIA will then pass the work onto a social worker or occupational therapist. Until the end of March the whole team was based together so social workers and occupational therapists were at hand to support and advise. The team now all work remotely and this presents a number of challenges. Recently the team has also taken over responsibility for all the Shielded people and in recent weeks have completed over 28,000 telephone calls to check on their welfare.

We require an experienced duty team manager for a period of 12 months to assist the other 3 team managers in managing the team remotely.
