Our vision is for all adults living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich to live well. We are looking for an experienced Team Manager for the Hospital Integrated Discharge Team based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

As Team Manager, you will lead and manage a staff team to ensure we are meeting statutory and locally agreed obligations. As Team Manager, you’ll also be continually working to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Team and of the Department, contributing to business plans and to policy and practice review and development.

The team support the discharge of Greenwich clients from acute hospital settings and deal with complex situations whilst working collaboratively with other professionals.

We are seeking a candidate with strong experience of supervising and performance managing a staff team and advising on the assessment of needs and the management of risk including in relation to Safeguarding enquiries. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to complete written work to a very high standard whilst working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will need substantial knowledge adult social care legislation, principles and best practice, and of the issues facing older people and people with disabilities.
