Job Purpose:

Advanced Practitioner (Safe Space Adolescent Safeguarding Service/Contextual harm)

We are looking for an experienced Practitioner with Assistant Team Manager experience to join our lively Adolescent Safeguarding Service. The role will entail holding a small caseload of 5/5 children, chairing strategy meetings, direct line management of a Family Practitioner and deputising in the absence of a team manager.

The cohort of young people that we serve are 11–18-year-olds affected by contextual/extra familial harm which can include CCE, CSE, Youth Violence, County Line and young people who go missing from home or care.

We are a statutory service who undertake Child and Family Assessments for this cohort of young people and offer ongoing support under a CIN plan if this is the recommendation from the assessment. We also undertake Southwark Judgement Assessments for young people aged 16-17 year olds who are affected by homelessness.
