Building Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician to work at site based in Cheltenham.

Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm.

Salary: Up to £30,000

Duties will include but not limited to;

Create a safety-first culture, ensuring the top priority with any work is protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone

Manage and deliver all logged and requested tasks / jobs in conjunction with the Mace FM24 Helpdesk and ensure that any client or customer requirements, concerns or complaints are dealt with effectively and communicated accordingly.

Manage and deliver daily and periodic maintenance and compliance tasks / requirements.

Manage and deliver reports, audits and compliance requests and execute office moves, minor projects, and minor works.

Effective communication and reporting on all services and tasks to the client.

Support the Clients Property team with the delivery of small project works, including moves and churn.

Complete the requirements of the L8 regulations, PAT testing, fire alarm tests, emergency light testing.

Complete minor fabric repairs and making good of areas in disrepair.

Complete small appliance installations

Support Business Continuity Plans and actively participate in Client’s BCP and Disaster Recovery Plans where required.

Requirements

2+ years’ experience within a similar role (Essential)

Previous experience as a technician in a corporate environment (Desirable)

A basic H&S qualification including knowledge of RAMS, Permits to Work & compliance paperwork (Desirable)
