Cardiology Nurse Specialist - Basildon

4Healthcare are currently recruiting for Cardiology Nurse Specialists (CNSs) to work within Basildon.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, confident and well-motivated autonomous RN to join our team of Cardiology Nurse Specialists. The position would suit someone with previous experience or related knowledge who is currently a senior B6 or above. You should have a qualification in Adult Health Assessment (degree or masters level) and have the non-medical prescribing qualification.

The successful candidate will be working with an already established team of CNS who organise, run and outcome Cardiology clinics (Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic, Chest Pain Review Clinic and Post PCI clinic). One of the many aspects of this role is to help lead the team in the already established nurse led DC Cardioversion list and to develop this and other services. Part of the role requires meeting and assessing patients presenting with chest pain or cardiac problems in the Emergency Department (ED) or elsewhere in the hospital In line with the person specification, we require someone with excellent ECG interpretation, knowledge of medicines/treatments used in cardiology including revascularisation.

What we will need from you:

• NMC Registered
• Experience in Cardiology
• Enhanced DBS
• 3 years' references
• 1 Years UK Hospital Experience
