Child Protection Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Child Protection Coordinator  to work with one of our clients based in Sheffield. You will be working for the council.

3 days per week (Part time)

Pay rates paying £40

We are seeking an experienced child protection co-ordinator to start as soon as possible for three days a week.  Candidates must have experience of arranging and conducting conferences and be social work and SWE registered with significant experience in child protection.  We are currently conducting conferences remotely so candidates will have the necessary IT equipment to work from home but may be required to come into the office at Howden House Sheffield City Centre if required.  Team members are expected to audit cases and be able to quality assure the work of all agencies who work with children in the city to ensure that they are appropriately safeguarded. Accordingly the successful candidate will need to be able to use authority to challenge poor or inappropriate practice to ensure better outcomes for children. Coordinators also assist in the development of practice, either through multi-agency training or through assisting with policy development.
