Are you a passionate, dedicated Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Communication Support Worker to join a team based in Carshalton, Sutton (office based). 

Pay Rates: £30.00 per hour

Support Worker role: Full JD Available

• To support and mentor students with hearing difficulties.
• Implement agreed individual programmes of support for learners to enable them to achieve qualification aims, develop independence, enhance progression opportunities and progress towards EHCP outcomes.
• Undertake examination support activities.
• Safeguard learners and promote wellbeing.
• Help students develop resilience, confidence and independence.
• Keep tutors informed of learners ‘progress by keeping high quality support records using college recording systems.
• Contribute to support plans and risk assessments.

Essential Requirements:

• British Sign Language Level 2 as a minimum
• Experience of working successfully with young people in a supporting/mentoring role within an educational setting
• Evidence of commitment to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Passionate
• Able to work flexibly and travel 
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
