Pay rate is £10.41 PAYE

Purpose of the Role of a Care Assistant

This is a Care in the Community style role so the candidates will be required to drive (with use of their own car), have a valid MOT, Business insurance and provide a DVLA screenshot of their licence.

Role Details:

• Physical tasks include washing, dressing, bathing and feeding clients, including those with special needs arising from physical or mental deterioration
• Social duties include talking to and motivating clients, helping clients to maintain contact with family and community, assisting with shopping, and organising group social activities
• Assisting in the creation of a supportive and homely atmosphere where clients can achieve maximum independence
• Assisting with laundry duties and care of client's items including emptying and cleaning commodes, making and changing beds, cleaning and tidying lockers
• Mileage can be claimed
• Training and uniforms will be provided. Training/Inductions will be paid for. Full PPE will be provided.
• Workers will need to be fully vaccinated or have their second vaccination booked
• The shifts will mainly be 7pm – 10.30pm/5pm – 10.30pm
• The workers are required to work Alternating shifts: One week they will be required to work Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The next week will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Weekend and Bank Holiday rates will apply
