Early Support Practitioner - Harrow 

Are you a passionate, dedicated Early Support Practitioner looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting an Early Support Practitioner to join a team based in a Youth Centre for children and young people of all ages. 

Pay Rates: £19.98 per hour

Duration: 14/11/2022 - Ongoing

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm - must be flexible - Hybrid

Early Support Practitioner role: Full JD Available

  • High quality direct work with the children, young people and their families
  • To undertake Early Support Needs Analysis (ESNA)
  • Support to improve social and educational needs of the client group
  • Support with their individual needs, including at times personal care and to modify activities to enable all children to access the activities/curriculum, encouraging independent skills
  • To deliver time limited enabling interventions in both group and individual settings
  • To work with other staff at the centres and Youth Offending Team in the provision of integrated care, health and education activities, parenting programmes, and in a range of targeted universal and universal plus interventions planned to ensure good outcomes
  • Contribute in supervision sessions, staff training days and staff meetings
  • Work with other colleagues internal and external to ensure early identification and support is a priority
  • Keep accurate records and plans
  • Safeguard the young people at all times

Essential Requirements:

  • Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
  • Early years care and education vocational qualification level 3 or above and commitment to study to level 4 and above. Level 2/3 certificate in Youth Work
  • Recent experience with young people with a wide range of challenges including being at risk of offending, domestic abuse, gangs etc..
  • Proven experience of working as a key worker, group lead with young people in a social/health/educational group setting
  • Motivated and keen
  • Experience analysing the needs of young people
  • You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
