We are currently looking for a Executive Officer – Children's Trust to work with one of our clients based in Northampton. You will be working for the council.

Monday - Friday 

08:00 am - 17:00 pm

Temp contract

Pay rates upto £15.72

Job Purpose 

  • The creation of two new unitary authorities and the establishment of a standalone children’s trust for the County, which will deliver children’s social care, targeted early help and young offending services to these new organisations in the North and West of Northamptonshire.  The Children’s Trust will allow for a single focus on improving the outcomes of children and young people in Northamptonshire and will aim to develop a culture that allows the very highest quality of professional practice to flourish, aiming to deliver at the cutting edge of new innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • The postholder will provide high level executive and administrative support services to the Chair, Board and Chief Executive Officer of the shadow Children’s Trust, assisting with the smooth running and effectiveness of the Trust’s decision making processes, undertaking policy research and ensuring that the Trust is developed with suitable governance procedures in place. The postholder will also provide company secretarial support to the shadow Trust Board and committees by advising Board members on constitutional matters, maintaining statutory books and documents and ensuring that the key elements of business planning are in place.
