Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join a team based in Barnsley. 

Pay Rates: £17.44 per hour 

Duration: 13/02/2023 - 3.5 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, 37 hrs/week - Office based

Family Support Worker role: Full JD Available

• To engage and support targeted families with children aged 0-25 years through targeted outreach/home visiting and Family support interventions as identified though the Early Help Assessment.
• To provide advice, support and guidance to promote learning and positive parenting skills.
• Work alongside MASH Social Workers to ensure that timely, appropriate, and effective verifications are completed.
• Complete all Requests for Information from partners and external agencies, collate information held in our Integrated Children’s System accurately and liaise with the referrer as appropriate.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of different agencies and how they work together to safeguard children.
• Confidently prioritise work based on information received.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and partner organisations, understanding the importance of collaborative working in achieving the best outcomes for our children.
• To report and record any safeguarding concerns.

Essential Requirements:

• Recent experience in a similar role
• Level 3 Diploma
• ICT Training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
