Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to work within a District or Family Centre team based in Oldham. The Family Centre supports family time for children with their birth families. 

Pay Rates: £13.04 per hour

Family Support Worker role: Full JD Available

• To undertake casework support for children and families.
• Working in partnership with families who are experiencing challenging circumstances in order to achieve positive outcomes and lasting change for the whole family.
• Create individual plans for the children and young people.
• Observe, assess and monitor cases, keeping and maintaining records.
• Have an understanding of resources which are available to meet the needs of the child and family such as support groups etc..
• To provide written and verbal contributions to child protection/Child in Need reviews, Looked After Children (LAC) statutory reviews, multi-agency meetings and to hold Children in Need cases as appropriate.
• Assist in group work for parents and young people. 
• Build trusting relationships. 

Essential Requirements:

• Recent experience working with children in need, young people & their families
• Recent experience in Family Support
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS Certificate
