Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Time Worker to join a team based in Stockport (office based).

Pay Rates: £12.92 per hour

Duration: 12 weeks initially 

Family Time Worker role: Full JD Available

• Facilitate and supervise contacts between children and their parents/ carers.
• Recognise risks or harm and intervene appropriately.
• Escalate any concerns to social workers.
• Complete details reports from notes taken during contact supervision based in parent ability.
• Home and community visits to identify issues that have an impact.
• Ensure the safety and well-being on the children at all times.
• Assist parents where needed with things such as routines and behavioural control and keep track on improvement.
• Run parent workshops and social activities.
• Carry out Health and Safety procedures in contact centres.
• Attend meetings, conferences, reviews and court proceedings where required.
• Liase with other agencies to plan and deliver support needed in a trauma informed approach.
• Build strong working relationships with the children, families, colleagues and others.

Essential Requirements:

• Recent experience working with vulnerable children, young people and their families
• Recent experience in family support
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
