Female Night Residential Childcare Worker - Manchester

Are you a passionate, dedicated Childcare Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Female Night Residential Childcare Worker to join a team based in Manchester. You will be required to provide and supportive and stable environment for the children and young people between 11 – 17 years. 

Pay Rates: £11.45 per hour

Duration: 3 - 6 months initially 

Childcare Worker role: Full JD Available

• Ensure the welfare of young people is promoted, and they are protected from abuse.
• Ensure that an appropriate response is made to any allegation or suspicion of abuse or neglect.
• Develop trusting relationships with the children, young people and their families.
• Ensure that the wishes and feelings of children/people are taken into account.
• Liase with colleagues and other professionals in regards to the children/ young people.
• Keep daily records.
• Prepare written reports and update young people’s files.

Essential Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence and access to a Vehicle
• NVQ Level 3 in working with Children and Young in Residential Care or equivalent or Social Work/ Youth Work qualifications or working towards
• PI training dated with in the last 2 years
• 1 year+ recent experience working with children and young aged 11 – 18 years
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
