Finance and Provisions Officer – London (Temp Vacancy)

Umbrella Pay Rate: £22.00ph

Full-Time (37 hours)

Job Purpose:

To provide specialist support to organise and control a professional service area to ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective services that meet the Council’s, professional and legislative requirements; delivering positive outcomes for service users. 

This is a finance officer role to support education finance within SEND Service to process provider payments, school place planning, budget reporting for senior management. The role also includes performance related data and statutory DFE reports as well as responses to the Freedom of information requests.

Ideal candidate will have a strong finance or audit background (idealy education finance). They will have knowledge of finance processes and audits as well as be proficient with excel spreadsheets and SAP.
