Healthcare Assistant Band 2- Mental Health- Sussex

Are you a passionate, dedicated healthcare assistant looking for flexible hours? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting Mental Health HCA’s to work across various shift patterns in and around the Sussex area.

Pay Rates: £9.00-£16.00ph

What you will be doing:

• You will be working on various wards across a Inpatient unit dealing with patients with varying needs.
• Check rooms to ensure they are safe and clear of anything that may cause harm.
• Serving meals
• Meet with Patients to discuss the previous day/Night
• Observe Patients regularly.

Essential Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months Band 2 UK Mental Health Hospital Experience
• Must have worked with clients with reduced mobility
• Must have either PMVA or MAPA Training
• Right to Live and Work in the UK

Skills & Professional Characteristics Needed:

• Previous Mental Health experience
• Caring and kind
• Cheerful and friendly
• Willing to be hands-on with patients
• Willing to do personal care tasks (washing, toileting, etc)
• Be able to follow instructions and procedures
• Be able to work in a team but use their own initiative
