Are you a passionate, dedicated Homeless Prevention Officer looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Homeless Prevention and Solutions Officer to join a team based in Harrow. 

Pay Rates: £17.40 - £25.00 per hour 

Homeless Prevention and Solutions Officer: Full JD Available

• You will be responsible for preventing and relieving homelessness for households who approach the company in need
• Conducting assessments and supporting households to sustain their tenancies
• Interview and create individual plans for users
• Provide housing options and support to homeless
• Support clients placed in emergency accommodation until the clients has been moved into longer term temporary accommodation
• Help people understand the rented housing market, keeping up-to-date with Local Housing Allowance, benefit changes
• Help tenants prepare documents for court proceedings, attend court if necessary
• Make all necessary referrals to relevant services or departments
• Deal with complaints and other queries

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working in housing/ homelessness
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and procedures on homelessness
• A good understanding of the issues affecting affordability of housing
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Basic DBS Certificate
