HR Assistant – Hackney (Temp Vacancy)
Umbrella Pay Rate: £14.00ph
Full-Time (37 hours)
Job Purpose:
- To provide an effective and efficient administrative support service to the HR function
Accountabilities:
- To act as an initial point of contact for customers, dealing tactfully and politely with enquiries, researching and following up until resolution is achieved or escalating as appropriate.
- Provide assistance with the administration of employee correspondence (e.g. contract variation letters, Maternity/ Paternity/ Adoption leave) for both schools and HLT staff, notifying payroll as appropriate
- To identify and resolve routine administrative problems and contribute to improvement in ways of working within the team.
- To organise HR meetings, room bookings, agendas and to take minutes (where applicable).
- Assist in the audit of Single Central Records (SCRS) within local schools and HLT establishments.
- Provide assistance to the Senior HR Advisor with HLT recruitment campaigns, including administering offers of employment, pre-employment checks and contracts of employment. Process new starters onto the relevant E-Systems
- To maintain confidentiality at all times.
