Are you a passionate, dedicated Keyworker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Keyworker to join a team based in Bolton. 

Pay Rates: £15.93 per hour

Duration: 02/01/2022 - 3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30, 37 hrs/ week - office based

Keyworker role: Full JD Available

  • To work on a daily paired duty rota which is in support of schools, social workers and associated families.
  • Support the Early Intervention Service with the delivery of safeguarding visits to children who are on a Child Protection Plan or Looked After, when they are absent from school.
  • Investigations into children who are missing in education – where families are believed to have left the area and when a family have moved into Bolton with school age children who do not yet have a school place.
  • Direct work with the children, young people and their families.
  • Assess the needs of the children, young people and their families and identify barriers to education.
  • Maintain records to allow progress to be monitored.
  • Arrange and attend meetings.  
  • Provide information/ advise to schools on attendance related issues.
  • Acting as a key contact point.
  • To ensure all statutory obligations are met. Including the preparation of witness statements and giving evidence in court to support the local authority with prosecutions in relation to the Education Act 1996.
  • Advocate on behalf of young people and families.

Essential Requirements:

  • UK Driving licence, business insurance, access to a vehicle
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Recent experience in youth & / or community work, social work, education or school attendance
  • Ability to engage and deliver appropriate interventions with young people, parents and carers
  • Knowledge of factors/issues affecting young people and the key points of transition in their lives
  • You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
  • Enhanced Child DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
