Pay Rates: £18.06 - £23.91 per hour

Team Leader role: Full JD Available

• Our client are seeking a Team Leader to assist the manager in running of day/ community service for adults with Autism. 
• Line manage staff and provide advice and support to all staff within the service.
• Ensure that activities provided are maximising independence and working to meet the Person’s outcomes and goals.
• Ensure you are your team are fully committed to working in partnership with residents, carers, community based organisations and other key professionals.
• Develop a positive transparent environment where staff feel supported and developed.
• Ensure systems are kept up to date at all times with financial matters.
• Support the Manager to ensure that the service operates effective procedures for receiving referrals, assessing service users' needs, and the development, implementation and review of Support Plans, including risk assessments and medication management.
• Promote the development of anti-discriminatory awareness.

Essential Requirements:

• Recent previous experience working with adults with Autism/ Learning Disabilities
• Health and Safety Training
• A knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults
• A good standard of written English and Mathematics to at least GCSE C/ level 4 which can demonstrate an ability to work at this level or demonstrate relevant experience
• Willingness to work flexibly, may need to cover some evenings due to the nature of the job
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Adult DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
