Maintenance Supervisor - Building Services

My client is looking for a building services site supervisor to run a busy commercial office building based in Hammersmith - IMMEDIATE START

You will be ensuring smooth running of the contract, supervising the team of engineers and hands on when required.

The supervisor will need to possess Electrical or Mechanical technical qualifications.

Job Title: Building Services Site Supervisor - (Hands On)

Location: Hammersmith, W6

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am till 5pm

Duration: On-going temporary position

Pay: Up to £25ph via umbrella (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Environment: Commercial office

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Arranging RAMs / Permits to work.

Managing specialist contractors.

Liaising with building Manager / Client.

Supervising the hands-on engineers & assisting when required.

To undertake routine PPM tasks in accordance to recognised standards

To undertake reactive repairs as required.

To undertake Electrical Installation work as required.

To undertake escort duties of Sub-contractors where required

To attend training to assist with contract requirements

Be available to attend in emergency situations, including spill response team.

Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests.

Undertake regular inspections.

Requirements:

City & Guilds Level 2/3 diploma – or equivalent in electrical/mechanical.

2+ years previous experience in the Engineering services sector

2+ years previous Supervisory/Lead experience.
