MASH Business Support Officer – Sefton Council

Children Social Care

Salary: £10.40 ph

Full-Time (37 hours)

Job Purpose:

To undertake a range of tasks to provide a full business support to the MASH Team. Business admin support required to cover everyday offices duties and also complete MASH Enquiries, minute taking,

typing, send out letters, answer telephone calls, support social workers with daily tasks, undertake financial task i.e. petty cash and recording of expenditures, invoices and computer literate.

Main Duties:

To maintain accurate and up to date dairy system for Strategy Meetings & Case Discussions for MASH and rest of Children's Social Care.

To undertake all administrative duties for MASH Strategy Meetings & Case Discussion, including distribution of MASH Enquiry forms, compilation of information from other agencies.

To minute Strategy Meetings & Case Discussions on rota basis with other MASH agency Researcher posts.

To ensure confidentiality at all times with regard to Strategy Meeting & Case Discussion.

Distribute petty cash monies and complete and tasks relating to financials that is requested by the needs of the service.

 Respond to general letter enquiries.

Act as a point of contact for Social Workers, Team Managers, Family Support Workers. Maintain contact with workers vied out of the office.

To advise and assist in telephone queries. Follow up Social Worker enquiries and pass on information to relevant people i.e. other professionals, service users.

Screen all calls for Service Managers, Team Managers and take messages for Social Workers who are not available.
