Nursery Care Officer – South West London

Full Time Contract

£14.50 PH

Role and Responsibilities;

• Responsible for supporting the manager in the day to day operation of the service , including:
  • the staff
  • service activity planning and timetabling of provision ,  
  • activity and equipment/resources
  • welfare of the children and young people with complex medical, health, education and care needs (children and young people with complex disabilities and SEN)
• To assist the manager to work in partnership with children and young people and their families ensuring that the child’s voice is heard and responded to and that there is  meaningful consultation and local operational  service changes as  a result of feedback
• In the absence of the manager to be responsible for the provision to ensure  a high quality service that is fully complaint with all legislation including   the welfare of children aged 6 – 18 with complex SEN and disabilities, relevant registration/inspection requirements , health and safety and equalities duties. This includes a deputising role in accordance with the agreed rota
