4Recruitment Services are currently seeking Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) to work within Lincoln.

Hours: Part-Time/Full-Time Days

Shifts: Short Shifts/Long Shifts Available (Days/Nights & Block Bookings)

Pay Rate: £Competitive

 

Are you a passionate and organised ODP with at least 1 Years' UK Hospital Experience?

What you will be doing-

You'll support patients before, during and after surgery. This will include assessing them after surgery to make sure they can be taken back to the ward. You'll usually work within an anaesthetic, surgical or recovery team, but you might also work in accident and emergency, intensive care, day surgery clinics, maternity units or resuscitation teams. Your day-to-day duties could include: Preparing the operating theatre and equipment, making sure specialist equipment is available for specific procedures, monitoring theatre cleanliness, ordering and rotating items of stock and drugs, providing the surgical team with the items they need during an operation, monitoring instruments and keeping accurate records.

 

Who you are-

Candidates will be expected to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, as well as communicate well with other members of staff and patients. You must have up to date knowledge of clinical practices and a strong understanding of relevant regulatory care compliance. You'll need a diploma or degree in operating department practice approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You'll need practical skills, the ability to concentrate for long periods of time, problem solving & organisational skills and the ability to act calmly under pressure

 

What You will need-

To be able to register with us you will need to have a Registered HCPC Pin, an Enhanced DBS, have 3 years' worth of references and have 1 years minimum UK Hospital experience.
