Are you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Personal Advisor to join a team based in Bexleyheath, assisting young people leaving care to make a transition to independent adulthood.

Pay Rates: £22.00 per hour

Duration: 121/11/2022 - 3 months

Hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm - must be flexible - office based 

Personal Advisor role: Full JD Available

• Direct work with the young people, acting as their principle source of contact
• Maintain and review pathway plans
• Monitor the provision and effectiveness of pathway plans to all clients and report shortfalls to the team manager
• To reduce the number of care leavers who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), by identifying their EET interest and supporting them in getting access
• Provide advice and support, including negotiation on behalf of clients
• Provide independence and like skills training
• Liase with statutory and voluntary agencies
• Keep track and written records of their progress
• Participate in casework, management and personal supervision in line with agency requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Recent experience working with  disadvantaged and/or challenging young people
• Extensive work with young people
• Knowledge of Children [Leaving Care] Act 2000, Looked After Children practice and assessment procedures ect.  
• Knowledge of local education/ training, leisure and health opportunities for young people
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
