Are you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Personal Advisor to join a team based in a Children’s Home in Manchester. You will be required to support young people aged 16 – 25 with their transition to adulthood and assist them to live an independent life in their community.

Pay Rates: £15.88 per hour

Duration: 30/01/2023 - 2 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, between the hours of 08:00 - 20:00, 35 hrs/ week - Hybrid

Personal Advisor role: Full JD Available

• Manage a caseload of young people, prepare and support them to live independently.
• Provide advice, practical assistance and support.
• Identify packages of support for young people living in the community and supervise and monitor the delivery of tasks.
• Provide financial support and help them work on their financial skills and budgeting.
• Help gain access to appropriate accommodation, education, employment and training.
• Coordinate the provision of services and ensure sure they are being used.
• Contribute to Pathway Plan Assessment and provide ongoing assessment promoting young people’s full engagement to inform Pathway Planning.
• Keep accurate case records and undertake statutory recordings.

Essential Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence, Access to a vehicle, Business Insurance
• An understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance
• An in-depth understanding of the statutory responsibilities and duties for looked after children
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered to the update service
