Project Support Officer – Barnet (Temp Vacancy)

Umbrella Pay Rate: £18.00ph  

Full-Time (37 hours)

Job Purpose:

• This is an FTC role (up to 6 months) to support the council’s delivery of the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
• You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the scheme, undertaking specific tasks and actions to ensure that smooth implementation of the programme, supporting the council to deliver a high-quality service to both sponsor and guests.  

Accountabilities:  

• To develop a clear understanding of the aims and objectives of the scheme and own and council’s role within that.
• To support team in delivering the council’s implementation of the Homes for Ukraine scheme.   
• To take responsibility for delivery of assigned tasks
• To develop an understanding of the datasets and contribute to updating them on a weekly basis
• To take responsibility for the day to day management of the central government database, identifying and raising issues when necessary
• To provide datasets to the different services delivering the Homes for Ukraine programme at the appropriate times
• To contribute to the reporting of information on the programme to the wider team and senior management
• Liaising with sponsors and guests where required and supporting the customer contact centre in dealing with enquires about the scheme
• Working with partner agencies and helping coordinate local support through networking, meetings and events
• Take responsibility for Health & Safety in the workplace, identifying, acting upon and where appropriate escalating any risks
