Job Description

Purchase Ledger Clerk- 6 Month Contract- possibility to extend

We are  looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to be accountable for matching and coding invoices, preparing and running BACS payments, reconciling supplier statements and other daily duties in the Accounts team.

Hours 9-5.30 Monday to Friday

£14 PH

Key Responsibilities

  • Check, code, process, scan and distribute supplier invoices
  • Deal with any queries relating to invoices
  • Reconcile duty invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Prepare weekly payment runs
  • Prepare and make payments using Metros and
  • Interact with suppliers/bank using phone/email
  • Allocate currency invoices to current contracts
  • Ad hoc cover for other team members
  • Assist with Month End duties. (Accruals)
