Contract - FT - £207 per day

4Recruitment Services require an experienced Social Worker to work within a Family Support & Child Protection Team based within Basildon. The Successful Social Worker will be required to have a minimum of 2 years recent Social Work experience of working within a Family Support & Child Protection team. You will need to be committed and have the drive to match the ambitions to the Local Authority.

 To play a key part in transforming the lives of children and families, you’ll be a DIPSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent graduate. This will be backed up by post-qualification experience as a children’s social worker. The role requires you to be mobile throughout a wide operational area including travelling around the county of Essex and beyond, transporting service users and their belongings and to be able to do so in an emergency. Driving licence and car or ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means is essential.

• A relevant Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work/DipSW or equivalent)
• Relevant Experience working with a Family Support Team
• Relevant Experience working with a Child Protection Team
• Be HCPC Registered
• Be eligible to work within the UK
