Qualified Social Workers | Locality Team | Brent

We require an experienced Social Worker to work within a Locality Team based within Brent. The Successful Social Worker will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in locality services and be registered with the HCPC.

The teams are made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Social Care Practitioners who work collaboratively to manage the needs of patients in the community. We use a restorative practice approach to avoid building dependence on services. The work is very varied and involves working with patients with a wide range of needs and disabilities and this offers great opportunities for extending your knowledge and expertise.

You will need a working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act and Safeguarding procedures. At least two years post-qualifying experience is essential for this post. You will hold a caseload and contribute to a duty rota.

To apply for this the Social Worker must have:
* A relevant Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work/DipSW or equivalent)
* Be HCPC Registered
* Be eligible to work within the UK

• Significant experience within locality services

Rate is up to £35ph.
