Recruitment Manager – Bristol (Temp Vacancy)

Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.00ph

Full-Time (37 hours)

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Recruitment Manager for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave, from February 2023. (With a view that we would look to take the successful candidate onto an SGC contract temp to perm after 13 weeks)

It is essential that applications have significant management experience of leading and managing a large team and experience of  in-house recruitment. Ideally within the public sector, although this is not essential.

We are not looking for candidates that only have Recruitment Consultant / Sales experience as this is primarily a strategic role, where the Recruitment Manager will oversee the running of the recruitment teams, processes and procedures rather then it being a hands on recruitment role (although some hands on recruitment is required)

The Recruitment Manager has ownership and oversight of both the recruitment ATS and Agency worker contracts and will be required to ensure both are running as efficiently as possibly and the council is getting value for money.

There is also an going Recruitment Marketing and EVP project which will be the responsibility of the Recruitment Manager to move forward, develop and implement.

They will oversee the councils Apprenticeship and 'in to work' programmes working closely with the Apprenticeship Coordinator to ensure the Levy is utilised as much as possible.

They will join project groups across the council on specific areas of challenge such as Children's Social Work recruitment and provide advice on ways to move forward.

They will also oversee any International Recruitment that takes place.
