Are you a passionate, dedicated Residential Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Residential Support Worker to join a team based in a short break’s service for disabled young people and their families in Bolton. 

Pay Rates: £15.93 per hour

Duration: 02/01/2022 - 4 months initially

Hours: 4 x 7.5 hour shifts a week between 7am - 10pm, 30 hrs/ week with the possibility of additional hours - office based 

Residential Support Worker: Full JD Available

• Provide for the practical and personal care needs on a day-to-day basis in partnership with families.
• Act as a key worker for the children, young people and their families.
• Assess the needs of the children with disabilities and contribute to their care plans.
• To stimulate development and learning skills through play, social interactions and encouragement of children and young people.
• Provide and participate in leisure activities in line with the care and placement plans.
• Participate in the general activities and delivery of services.
• Awareness and responsibility for the health and safety of all. 
• Complete reports for statutory reviews and meetings concerning the young people.
• Attend meetings where necessary.
• Undertake mandatory training programmes as required.
• Build strong and trusting working relationships.

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare or a related area
• Recent experience working with children/ young people with disabilities
• An understanding of the impact of disability
• Training modules/ certificates required
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
