SEN Manager (Special Educational Needs) | Buckinghamshire

4Recruitment Services require an experienced Special Educational Needs Manager to work within Buckinghamshire County Council in the Aylesbury Office.

The main purpose of the role:

• To lead and manage the co-ordination and delivery of SEND statutory processes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, promoting a culture of co-production with young people and their families
• To ensure children and young people with EHC Plans receive appropriate provision that meets their specific needs both in and out of the Authority
• To contribute to the delivery of the best possible outcomes and the raised attainment of pupils with SEND, by working closely with schools, settings, FE Colleges and other partners

To apply for this role you must have:

• Substantial experience of delivering a specialist service within a large / complex organisation, with expert technical /professional knowledge and experience
• Good knowledge of local government and wider sector / external influences
• Good ICT skills including use of standard Microsoft applications and specialist systems
• Expert knowledge and understanding of the service area; the requirements, systems, policy, practices, procedures, legislation, emerging development and major issues facing it
• Substantial experience of service planning and delivery
• Demonstrates behaviours which model the council's values
• Indicative Qualifications
• Educated to degree level or equivalent standard
• Post graduate qualification would be desirable
• Relevant professional qualification would be desirable

• Be eligible to work within the UK

Salary range is £Negotiable per hour.
