Senior Practitioner - Adoption Team

We are currently looking for a Senior Practitioner - Adoption Team. You will be working in southend for the council.

Monday - Friday

Permenant Contract

Salary between £37,849 - £43,662 per annum

Key Responsibilites

• Working with children in care, where care proceedings are in progress and with children subject to plans for adoption
• Keeping children safe and achieving permanency for them
• Undertaking assessments, court statements, care plans and giving oral evidence
• Experience of managing dynamics and complex caseloads, whilst fulfilling our statutory responsibilities and maximising our use of resources
• Hold sound knowledge of legislation, recent case law and policies in respect of looked after children
• Section 17 checks
