Are you a passionate, dedicated Social Work Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Social Work Assistant to join an Assessment Team based in Ollerton. You will work with a team of social workers on a Child Protection Team.  

Pay Rates: £14.70 per hour

Duration: 12/12/2022 - 3 months

Hours: 37 hrs/week - must be flexible - hybrid

SWA role: Full JD Available

• To contribute to or maintain such records as are required by policy and good practice.
• Prepare reports and deal with other documentation as necessary and appropriate.
• Liaise with staff within and outside the Department in order to gather information and assist care planning processes.
• To participate in case discussions, reviews and other relevant team activities.
• Contribute as appropriate to practice and service developments.
• Attend departmental and inter-agency meetings as required.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge and awareness of policies and procedures.
• Take advantage of opportunities provided for further training.
• Utilise new technology applications relevant to the role and conduct of work.
• Accompanying social workers on home visits, transporting/delivering/collecting as required.

Essential Requirements:

• Recent, extensive experience working with vulnerable young people
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
