Are you a passionate, dedicated SWA looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Social Work Assistant to join their Child Protection Team based in Mansfield. You will be required to protect and promote the welfare of children in need of social services.

Pay Rates: £14.70 per hour

Duration: 27/02/2023 - 2/3 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week - Hybrid

Social Work Assistant role: Full JD Available

• To contribute to or maintain such records as are required by policy and good practice.
• Prepare reports and deal with other documentation as necessary and appropriate.
• Liaise with staff within and outside the Department in order to gather information and assist care planning processes.
• To participate in case discussions, reviews and other relevant team activities.
• Contribute as appropriate to practice and service developments.
• Attend departmental and inter-agency meetings as required.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge and awareness of policies and procedures.
• Take advantage of opportunities provided for further training.
• Utilise new technology applications relevant to the role and conduct of work.
• Accompanying social workers on home visits, transporting/delivering/collecting as required.

Essential Requirements:

• Recent, extensive experience working with vulnerable Children and Young People
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered to the update service
